ESPN reports that the Dodgers will name Oakland Assistant GM Paul DePodesta their GM for 2004. Given that the combination of Dodger Stadium, the Dodger's offense, the Dodger pitching staff, and the rest of the world's offense make for a sabermetrician's dream, this should be interesting.
This little piece that my friend Murray sent me tells me that DePodesta definitely does not have a problem with his confidence. Now we'll have to see what he does as the number one guy.
