Jeff Nelson signed a minor-league contract with Seattle on Monday.
If he makes the team, he'd be the 65th player all time to have three separate tours with the same franchise while playing with another major-league team in between. If he plays for the M's and then gets traded to the Yankees, he'd be just the third man to have three separate tours with two clubs. The others are Bobo Newsom (Browns and Senators) and Harold Baines (O's and ChiSox).
